How are Same Day Teeth different from other treatments?

Most dental implant treatments involve wearing temporary dentures for months while everything heals. Same Day Teeth skips that part. Your new fixed teeth are placed on the same day as your surgery, so there’s no awkward in-between period. They look natural and you can get on with things straight away.

Every prosthetic is designed and made in our own lab here at the clinic. Nothing comes off a shelf.

What to Expect

Discovery Call

Everything starts with a discovery call, which is a conversation with one of our treatment coordinators. We’ll talk through your situation, answer your questions and give you treatment options with approximate costs laid out. If you want to go ahead, we’ll book your clinical consultation from there.

If the thought of dental treatment makes you anxious, mention it at this stage. We’ve treated plenty of nervous patients over the years and we always go at your pace. Sedation is available if you’d prefer something more than local anaesthetic, and our patient testimonials give a good sense of what coming in actually feels like for people who felt the same way.

Your Clinical Consultation

The consultation takes one to two hours and is where we gather everything needed to plan your treatment properly.

A CBCT scan gives us a detailed 3D image of your jaw and bone structure. A digital intraoral scan captures your teeth and gums using a small camera, far more comfortable than the old impression trays. We also take clinical photos and videos that feed directly into the design of your new teeth.

With that data, we build a virtual 3D model and plan your implant positions and new teeth before surgery day. If a different treatment would suit you better, we’ll say so. Your treatment plan is written up and sent to you afterwards with everything clearly laid out.

Your Treatment Day

Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the day itself is. The procedure is routinely carried out under conscious sedation to keep you relaxed and pain-free throughout. You’re aware of what’s happening, you just don’t feel any of it.

Your surgeon then removes any loose or failing teeth, places the dental implants and fits your new teeth, all in one visit. Most people leave feeling considerably better than they expected to. Afterwards, some mild bruising and swelling for a few days is perfectly normal. We’ll send you home with a full aftercare plan so you know exactly what to expect.

Your Follow-Up

The teeth you go home with stay in place for about three months while your jaw heals and the implants settle. This is your chance to live with them and let us know if anything needs adjusting like the shade, the shape and how they feel day to day. Your permanent set isn’t finalised until you’re happy with it.
