If you’re not satisfied with the appearance of your teeth and you’ve finally decided to do something about it, it can be very daunting turning up to the dentist for your initial consultation. You’ll probably have quite a clear idea of what you want, but how do you communicate that to us? Plus, you’ll probably be a little nervous about the treatment you think you need to have.
Gone, thankfully, are the days when you just had to open wide and cross your fingers that your dentist had understood your wishes. At Fusion, we are kitted out with the latest digital technology which gives our patients two key advantages:
- The most up-to-date capabilities that enable us to give you safer, more accurate, faster treatment and results you will love.
- An on-screen 3D preview of your new teeth so you can actually see how you will look post-treatment. Not only will you be able to visualise your new smile, but you can ask us to adjust the design if you’re not quite happy – a genuine chance to call the shots on your smile makeover!
The technology we use is called Face Hunter, which takes a photo-realistic 3D image of your face which can then be viewed on screen. It gives us an exact replica of your face, and the look of your new teeth can be designed within the technology. That way, we can ensure the most natural look for our patients. And for you, it’s just like looking in a mirror, except you’ll see your new self smiling confidently back!
We are also able to offer our patients the opportunity to tour our on-site laboratory where all our replacement teeth are manufactured, which gives you reassurance that we are using the latest equipment and best materials and that our whole team is working seamlessly together to make the design a reality!
We find that our Smile Makeover patients come to us believing they need all sorts of dental work to achieve the smile they dream of. After the consultation and smile design stages, they are often delighted when we tell them that much of their dream look can be achieved with less invasive treatments such as veneers (wafer-thin strips of tooth-coloured material which are bonded to the front surface of each tooth), tooth straightening (orthodontics) and whitening. If you require something more, we’ll take you through all the options and make sure we choose the right thing for you.
Achieving a dream smile might previously have seemed just that – a dream. However, thanks to the latest digital technology and our committed team of dental professionals who have our patients’ needs foremost in their minds, it’s more achievable than you might think!
